2027 MYBL Tryout Information

All tryouts dates will be held at the Mav Baseball Complex @ McCutcheon High School!

Class of 2031 & 2032 (7th & 8th Grade): July 13, 2026
Class of 2033 & 2034 (5th & 6th Grade): July 14, 2026
Class of 2035 & 2036 & 2037 (2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade): July 15, 2026

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check your player in at the table located inside gate.
ALL players must be registered prior to being allowed to try-out.
Only attend the appropriate tryout for your age group.

Players should register and try out based on the grade they will be entering in Fall 2026. Team placement for the 2027 season will be based on grade level. The MYB Board reserves the right to review individual situations and make placement adjustments when necessary.

2027 Team Tryouts

MYB is not always all inclusive like the local Recreational Leagues(Cole, Dayton, Wea, and Southwestern Summer Rec). Registering a player does not mean he will automatically be chosen for a team for the year of play.

We analyze the tryout evaluations and try to form as many teams as we believe will be competitive at our level of play. If a player is not chosen for a team they will be notified and always welcome to tryout for future seasons. .

Upon acceptance of a roster position offered, a non-refundable $200 deposit must be made within 48 hours to secure that spot. If the acceptance deposit is not made, MYB holds the right to move to another player from the tryout list. This deposit will go directly towards your total overall player fee for the season as outlined on our website. No refunds will be given of the deposit if you choose to back out of your commitment at that time for any reason.
